Meet the Expert Kirti Lad, Meraki Executive Search & Consulting Limited

Kirti is the Executive Director of Meraki Executive Search & Consulting Limited and created by the leadership team of Harvey Nash APAC. She joined Harvey Nash London in 1998 and moved to HK in 2012 as part of the leadership team driving growth into the region. Her expertise is in leadership hiring both Non-Executive and Executive appointments across the Asia Pacific region.

Kirti is a Physics & Chemistry graduate from University College London and has worked in Executive Search for over 20 years.

Kirti is the pioneer behind the Women’s Directorship Programme, a joint-venture with The University of Hong Kong. Kirti also leads the Meraki Network, an Executive Women’s network in the region, is a regular speaker and contributor to conferences and media relating to gender diversity in Asia and is an active member of the Women in Business Committee at the British Chamber in Hong Kong.

In 2015, 2016 and 2017, Kirti was named as one of the Global Top 50 Diversity Professionals in Industry by the Economist Magazine. In 2013, Kirti was featured in the South China Morning Post’s annual Women Of Our Time magazine as one of Hong Kong’s 25 most inspirational and influential women who have contributed to the city’s success over the past year. She is married and has two young children, Roy and Ava.

Kimberly Arth, PIVOT

Kimberly Arth is the Co-Founder of PIVOT, mom of three and committed to helping women realize their career goals. She left the corporate world in 2015 when she moved to Hong Kong and set out on a new entrepreneurial path with the inception of PIVOT. Kimberly began her career in New York and has over ten years of experience in the financial sector. She has worked at institutions such as Goldman Sachs,

Credit Suisse and Lazard within the Investment Banking & Real Estate Finance divisions. Kimberly graduated from Brown University with a Bachelor of Arts in Business Economics.

Lauren Lin, PIVOT

Meet the Expert Lauren Lin, Co-Founder of PIVOT

Lauren Lin, Co-Founder of PIVOT, mother of three is inspired daily by the amazing women and mothers she meets in Hong Kong. She has over ten years of experience in partner marketing, public relations and marketing management. Her experience in the Hospitality sector includes tenure at the Five Star Five Diamond Wynn & Encore Resort and Boyd Gaming Corporation.

In 2012, she joined an early stage social mobile app startup, PlayStudios, which sparked her entrepreneurial spirit. After moving to Hong Kong in 2015 she wanted to follow her passion for connecting people and entrepreneurship resulting in PIVOT. She has a Bachelor of Science in Marketing and International Business certificate from Arizona State University.

Nicole Graham, Bauhinia Solutions

Meet the Expert Nicole Graham, Bauhinia Solutions

Nicole Graham is Hong Kong’s leading expert in virtual (outsourced) support. Following a successful career as an Executive Assistant to C-Suite Execs, and then as a corporate Learning & Development / HR Development Manager, and Facilitator, Nicole has been a driver in using technology to improve work efficiency and provide training.

Starting out teaching business owners how to use their computer software, and freelancing as a Virtual Assistant, Nicole has developed Bauhinia Solutions into a boutique business support agency. As Hong Kong-based business specialists, admin professionals, and virtual assistants Nicole’s team offer part-time remote support to coaches, consultants, entrepreneurs, and service-oriented teams. Nicole leads a team of employees in Hong Kong, the UK, and the Philippines. They have supported and driven growth remotely for more than 150 clients globally since 2007.

Nicole holds a Bachelor of Adult Education, majoring in Human Resource Development, Diploma in Management, Certificate in Marketing, and Certificate in Small Business Enterprise. She is a Certified Online Business Manager and has been studying with established, and successful business and digital marketing experts since 2008.

Charu Mathur, Meiburg Wine Media

Meet the Expert Charu Mathur, Meiburg Wine Media

Charu is the HR manager at Meiburg Wine Media, a dynamic communication, events & marketing agency and wine education business, created under the leadership of Debra Meiburg MW, Asia’s first Master of Wine. Charu joined the MWM team in 2017 and has since then been responsible for its 360 degree in-house Human Resource Management, of which Internships forms an integral part.

Charu has been passionate about her Human Resources work and has previously worked in the Finance industry and Recruitment Consultancy Industry in India, Singapore and Hong Kong. Prior to joining the Wine & Spirits industry with MWM, she was the Co-Founder of a Recruitment Consultancy that was also involved with young Interns.

Charu holds a Masters in Finance and is currently pursuing her Wine & Spirits diploma, which is her latest passion in education. In her free time, she is a yoga enthusiast and she likes to experiment with acrylic paints. She has been living in Hong Kong for the last 13 years, is married and has two children.

Salla Gebhard, Internships Asia

Meet the Expert Salla Gebhard, Internship Asia

Salla Gebhard is the founder of Internship Asia. She founded the company in 2017 from her passion to help students in their career paths. Internship Asia connects Hong Kong companies with international students for internship opportunities and supports both the company and intern with all practical aspects (paperwork, Visas, accommodation).

She’s graduated from Aalto University School of Business and has ever since worked within recruitment and career development. Salla started her career as an IT recruitment consultant for one of the biggest IT recruitment companies in Finland and has also worked for a local IT-recruitment company on a part-time role.

In addition to running Internship Asia, Salla also works as a recruitment partner for FLEXImums, a boutique recruitment company focusing on part-time and flexible roles, especially for moms.

Salla lives in Park Island with her active 5-year-old daughter and entrepreneur husband. Hong Kong has been home for her for the past 7 years and creates a good base for travelling around the world.
