Nathalie Chan, OWNAcademy

Natalie Chan is an engineer, corporate professional, film producer, adventure seeker, educator, entrepreneur and a member of the Global Shaper community.
Chan’s dedication in education was sparked from the realization that there is a gap between schools and the real world. In order to fix that, Chan founded OWN Academy in 2016, a 21st century education solution
with a focus on empowering the next generation to be changemakers and problem solvers of the future.
OWN Academy is on a mission to engineer a new education ecosystem that bridges classroom to the real world, connects education to employment, inspire students with passionate professionals.
As a result of Chan’s diverse achievements, she was selected as one of Davos 50, representing Asian youths to attend the World Economic Forum Annual Meeting and selected into Ashoka’s Changemaker x Change program in 2019.
Dr. Sarah Borwein, Central Health Medical Practice

Dr Sarah Borwein is a Canadian physician who has lived and worked in Hong Kong and Beijing for 22 years. She worked as a staff physician at the Beijing United Family Hospital where she was Director of Infection Control during the SARS outbreak in 2003.
After returning to Hong Kong, she became a founding partner in 2005 of what is now a large multi-disciplinary medical group. In addition to
patient care, she is involved with infectious disease surveillance both globally and locally.
She looks after a significant refugee population, is on the Board of Directors of the Patient Care Foundation, and is medical advisor to Outward Bound HK.
Having first-hand experience in the SARS epidemic in Beijing in 2003, and the COVID-19 epidemic in Hong Kong in 2020, Sarah has spoken and written extensively about the pandemic.
Sarah graduated from the University of Toronto Faculty of Medicine in 1999 and then obtained Certification in Family Medicine from the College of Family Physicians of Canada, followed by an MSc in Infectious Diseases from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine.

Sioban Guilfoyle relocated to Hong Kong in 2007, continuing her career in retail and consumer banking working with teams across Asia.
Sioban established Lissome Hong Kong Limited in 2014 to explore entrepreneurial opportunities. Identifying an underserved and largely ignored segment in the hair, skincare and beauty market, she purchased Glow in April 2015.
With a genuinely customer-centric approach, unwavering commitment to service standards, and aggressive reinvestment in new business lines, marketing and technology, Glow Hong Kong has seen a ten-fold increase in revenues and continual improvement in margins.
Glow is now one of Hong Kong’s most highly regarded international hair and skincare salons.
Sharlene Jacquier, Joint Dynamics

Sharlene spent 15 years working in engineering around Australia and South East Asia, having been based in Melbourne, Tokyo, Singapore and now Hong Kong. The experience in such numerous countries in so many diverse industries and corporations has honed a balanced and process driven approach to busuiness building and organisation.
Seven years ago she teamed up with one of Hong Kongs leading Pysiotherapists in Colin Symmonds, together they have grown a integrated health and wellness business five fold in seven years. Leading the Operations team of a company that services professionals, families, athletes, want-to-be athletes and a growing corporate clientele Joint Dynamics strives for ever higher standards in client care.
Even during the current challenging conditions Sharlene and her team at Joint Dynamics continues to evolve and plan for greater diversification of services and growth opportunities.
