They talked about how WEN supports women entrepreneurs, especially during times of unrest and how to overcome challenges.

There have been many news articles and social media posts about the various measures that the Hong Kong Government is taking to support individuals and business owners. However, you may not be able to see the wood through the trees with multiple information coming from all sides.
We are therefore happy to see that the Government has created a clear overview that outlines exactly what you are entitled to and which industries can apply for grants. It is encouraging to see that industries such as education and coaching have now been included too.
Please note, this booklet outlines only measures taken with regard to COVID-19. The other regular government grants can still be applied for separately, where applicable to your industry.
Dear WEN Member,
While the disruptions of the end of 2019 are still fresh in our entrepreneurial memory, we are now contending with even more challenging conditions.
We understand there is a lot of fear, confusion and uncertainty and our every day routines have been severely disrupted.
We too considered whether or not to go ahead with our next planned events. However, WEN’s mission is to connect and inspire women business owners and provide business solutions. We will celebrate your successes and are your support group in times of need. We deemed this a time of need and have therefore decided to go ahead with our planned events.
We have been in close contact with our venue sponsors and will adhere to strict health and safety precautions and guidelines, which we will clearly communicate in advance with our attendees.
Lastly, how is everyone? Many of us are feeling some pressure during these uncertain times. Remember to check in on friends, and please reach out if you need to.
WEN is a supportive group and we have a wealth of experience and knowledge within the group. Think of the connections you have made through WEN and how we can support each other.

WEN is delighted to announce we will be the Hong Kong Trade Development Council’s Community Partner in the InnoVenture Salon at the 13th Asian Financial Forum on 13th and 14th January 2020.
The InnoVenture Salon is a dedicated platform connecting startups with potential investors and partners from around the world to which our Chairwoman, Liz Search, together with her two Vice-Chairwomen Nicole Graham and Geetanjali Dhar will bring expertise and feedback to those who are starting out on their entrepreneurial journey.

The Women Entrepreneurs Network (WEN), Hong Kong is pleased to announce that Ms Liz Search (Mud Pies Education) is the newly appointed Chairwoman of WEN for 2019/2021.
Liz is the co-Founder and Managing Director of Mud Pies Education Limited. She launched the business in 2007 and since then, has supported thousands of families, working with children to improve their English language, communication and presentation skills. Furthermore, Liz is a member of The Rotary Club of Hong Kong South, where she is the incoming President for the year 2019-2020.
Liz joined WEN as a Board Member in 2016 as the WEN motto “Inspiration found. Connections made. Problems solved.” tied in perfectly with everything she had looked for as an entrepreneur. WEN also provides the perfect platform for Liz to continue her own education and her journey of supporting and educating fellow women entrepreneurs on their paths to success. For the past year, she took on the role of Co-Vice-Chairwoman alongside Geetanjali Dhar (Sanskriti).
Liz will lead WEN alongside Co-Founder and Honourary Lifetime Chairwoman, Elizabeth Thomson (The Amber Foundation) and her two vice-chairwomen, Geetanjali Dhar (Sanskriti) and Nicole Graham (Bauhinia Solutions).
Our exiting Chairwoman, WEN Co-Founder Kimberly Whiley (Tamco Holdings), will maintain a very active role as valued board- and EXCO member of WEN and we are incredibly grateful for the work she has done over the last two years during which WEN was able to redefine their mission and streamline the events.
WEN’s mission is to Inspire, Connect and Provide Business Solutions for experienced Women Entrepreneurs for Greater Success. We offer in-depth attention via expert-led circle events, workshops and masterclasses, helping in particular women who have owned a business for more than 3 years solve their business issues, enabling them to grow and scale up.
